We are so thrilled to be getting a movie theater, but a deluxe one as well!
I have been here so long, I remember it being a task to go to one of the two grocery stores in dowtown Greensboro.
Matter of fact, my husband, Norm and I use to Roller Blade to the grocery store & post office. Bobby, from the Post Office and Susie, from Bi-Lo used to have a good laugh on us, but it was nice!
However, times have changed and we are definitely ready for the amenities without having to drive so far to get them! By the way, we still have our roller blades, so if you happen to see us on the way to the movie, beep and say hello (please don't hit us though)!!
Current Plans for the new movie theater are as such:
Four show times a day, seven days a week.
General Admission is projected at $7 per matinees and $9.00 for evenings! (With gas prices what they are today, you'd easily use that much fuel going to another town to see a show, so this is a benefit in more ways than one)! The facility will include a total of 1100 seats between the eight cinemas.
There will be a Concierge Level. It will be at a higher premium, cinema style seating with an expanded menu, including bar service. There will be 200 seats devoted to the Concierge seating.
There will be a full service restaurant on the second floor, and the facility will also be open to Private Parties!! The facade fits right in with the beautiful style of The Lake Country!
